Eligibilty Criteria of PWD Assam Recruitment,2025
Following are the eligibility criteria for the recruitment of 654 posts, including Assistant Architect and Junior Engineer (Civil). Educational Qualification
- Assistant Architect:
Bachelors Degree in Architecture from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government.
- Junior Engineer (Civil)
Candidate must have 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering & Planning/ Construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.The Diploma course must be a regular course.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for the Junior Engineer post must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025. For the Assistant Architect post, the upper age limit is 38 years.

- Citizenship
Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Resident-ship
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
- Small Family Norms
The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
